Covid Memorial Monument Design Competition Closes. Donor Opportunities are Opening.

More than 200 designs from around the world were submitted for the Covid Memorial Monument Design Competition. A distinguished jury of art and architecture experts will make the final decision and award $20,000 U.S. to the winner.

In the meantime, land has been donated for the physical memorial and a virtual memorial of remembrance is being constructed. Also, donors are being sought to assist with the construction of the winning design. The Covid Memorial Monument Design underscores honor for front line workers who kept economies going and cared for the sick, remembrance for those who lost their battle to Covid and resiliency for the innovation and speed with which science and vaccines helped stem the losses.
